Main scientific results by INP BSU staff in 2007 in the area of fundamental scientific research

  • Possibility of volume reflection of high energy particles from several crystal planes of a single crystal was justified for propagation under low angle to crystal axis.
  • It was shown that, contribution of Т, Р odd nuclear powers into rotation of neutron spin, that diffract in crystal with non central symmetry, can be observed for resonance energies of lanthanum 139La.
  • A model of dark energy was proposed based on vacuum fluctuations of scalar field.
  • Thermal radiation of monolayer carbon nanotube with finite length in closer and farther range was studied in theory. Formation of discrete spectrum in metal-carbon nanotube in terahertz range was shown caused by reflections of very slow surface plasmon modes from edges of carbon nanotube. A concept of carbon nanotube as a thermal antenna was proposed.
